I think Kanye is one of the most talented, tortured souls ever. I feel as if he’s constantly in a battle with himself…New Slaves is such an honest portrayal of consumerism, fashionism, materialism and untimely falling victim to a world that owns you. Falling victim to yourself in a weird way, to opinions and the approval of others. Kanye is always honest, honest in such a way that it allows listeners to be honest with themselves. By no means is Kanye perfect.. but damn, who is?
